Shoorveer, the next series by Disney+Hotstar is just two days away from getting released. Looking at the trailer, it must be the second most ambitious project of Disney+Hotstar after ‘The Empire’ of course.
With such a grand scale and vision, there are a few things that Disney+Hotstar could have done for themselves. Given the immensely huge subscriber base of the platform, it is pretty obvious that the show will garner much higher views than whatever competition comes in the way. Still, to increase the buzz, the audience could be sparked a little more with the below things.
Release Date Window
Just after 6 days after the release of Shoorveer, Parampara is getting released. Needless to say, Parampara is already a highly popular series that is certain to attract the masses.
Not only that, just a day after Parampara, Ghar Waapsi is also dropping. It is also a Hindi series. Thus the small release date window could be a challenge for Shoorveer but, if the show comes out to be great then so will the views.
Better Character Promos
There is no great story without great characters. This also holds for films and series. Unfortunately, the character promos have been pretty underwhelming as they didn’t show something which we haven’t seen so far.
Newness is a risky bet but can also be a game changer. We hope that we get more interesting characters when the actual series drops.
More Glimpses
Had there been more glimpses from the show then it would help create greater buzz around the series. We just got two character promos, a trailer, and a teaser. In this competitive time, something more would be better.
