John Abraham has now begun shoot for his next action thriller ‘Tehran’. Inspired by true events, ‘Tehran’ is helmed by Arun Gopalan and is scheduled to release in theatres on Republic Day next year.
The announcement for shoot commencement was made by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films on social media with a new motion poster for ‘Tehran’ that features John Abraham in an all intense look wearing a shirt over a t-shirt.
While John is known for action leads, ‘Tehran’ will be first such collaboration between producer Dinesh Vijan and John Abraham. The film is written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma with Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell bankrolling it. The production companies behind ‘Tehran’ are Maddock Films in association with Bake My Cake Films.

John Abraham was last seen in films like ‘Attack’ and ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’, both of which bombed at the box office. Other than ‘Tehran’ his upcoming projects include Mohit Suri’s ’Ek Villain Returns’ and Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’. ‘Tehran’ is set to hit the theatres on Republic Day 2023.
