Zee studios has announced the resumption of shooting of their upcoming horror movie The Wife: Till Death Do Us Part. The movie is helmed by first time director Sarmad Khan. The movie was announced in February this year and started shooting on 1st of March but had to taken off the floor due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. 60 percent of the shooting had been completed by then.
The film restarted it’s shoot at Zee Studios in Jaipur, which will follow the mandatory government set safety guidelines. The entire shooting crew will be divided into teams with different colour codes to maintain social distancing. The different colours will act as access cards or no-entry cards in different parts of the sets to prevent over crowding.
Make up and Costume designs staff will be wearing full PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) kits, while the rest of the crew will have to wear mandatory face masks, face shields and gloves. A separate crew has been hired who have access till the front of the gate of the studios. They will be tasked with bringing equipment and other requirements for the crew, from the city and handing them over to the security.
The film stars Gurmeet Choudhary and Sayani Dutta. Gurmeet Choudhary, who became famous after coming on multiple television serials like Ramayan and Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, debuted in Hindi films in 2015 with the psychological thriller Kamoshiyan. Sayani Dutta on the other hand is making her debut in Hindi films through this thriller The Wife: Till Death Do Us Part.
