Versatile actor from the South, Prakash Raj had made a sensational Digital Debut with the Tamil Anthology Paava Kadhaigal. He played a father who is unseemingly brutal in Oor Iravu directed by Vetrimaran. He is convincing as always that we hate him for his unapologetic inclination towards his caste.
The actor is going to end the year with another OTT project, Shootout at Alair. He plays a police boss in the web series which is based on a series of arson and Hindu police murders that happen on the anniversary of the Mecca Masjid Bomb blasts in Hyderabad. The recently released trailer does not give us an impression of an intense role for Prakash Raj. But it is not always easy to judge a character just by a trailer.
Prakash Raj even though is from Karnataka always reserved his best for Telugu. Let us see what is in store for the Telugu audience with Shootout at Alair. The Web Series which was conceptualized and shot during the Lockdown is going to be premiered on Zee5 from December 25th as Christmas Special.
