Shootout at Alair is the forthcoming web series of Zee5 which is based on a real incident that happened in the Old City of Hyderabad. The web series marks the Digital Debut of Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter, Sushmitha, and her husband, Vishnu Prasad as producers. They have bankrolled the project on their Gold Box Entertainments Banner. Sushmitha previously worked as the stylist for Chiranjeevi in many films including Sye Raa recently.
When the project was first announced, there were widespread speculations that the entire mega family would come forward to promote the web series for Sushmitha. But that did not happen. We are just ten days away from the release, the promotions have been poor. The trailer had released last week and there is complete silence after that. Let us see if something happens at the last minute. Zee had to do some heavy-lifting here to push the content into the audience.
Telugu Director, Anand Ranga is directing this Web-Series which is based on true events involving a cop and criminals. The trailer, however, carried the promise and will keep the Binge watchers interested. Shootout at Alair is an eight episodes web-series and will be premiered on Zee5 – the Digital Arm of Zee Network on December 25th as a Christmas Special.
