Binged informed its readers about the fictional town of Mumbattan a few months back. Indian Spider-Man is called Pavitr Prabhakar and he is based in the same city of the fictional Mumbattan.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is due release on the 2nd of June. As the name suggests Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse will have multiple Spider-Men spread across the multiverse. They will eventually come together in the movie. It is going to be a high budget animation spectacle.
Indian cricketer Shubman Gill will voice the character of Pavitr Prabhakar in the movie. Mind you he will voice Pavitr Prabhakar not only in Hindi but also in Punjabi.
As said earlier, it is a high budget film so it will be released in 10 different Indian languages. Apart from usual English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, it would be released in Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Bengali.
With this, Shubman Gill becomes the first Indian sports personality to lend a voice to a Hollywood project. Let’s see how it goes.
