‘Mirzapur’ is one of Prime Video India’s most popular web series and after successful run for two seasons the preparations for season three are in full swing and this can be seen in Shweta Tripathi’s latest training session in the gym.
Shweta Tripathi who plays the role of Golu Gupta in action crime thriller drama ‘Mirzapur’ was seen in a simple studious girl’s role in the first season who had to take on greater graver responsibilities in season two.
Looks like she is going to get into a more intense action packed role in season three going by the hard core training she is currently undergoing. A more agile Golu with that toned body is fitness goals for sure.

‘Mirzapur’ season two ended with Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Golu taking their revenge from Munna (Divyendu Sharma). On the other hand Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal) has killed Satyanand Tripathi (Kulbhushan Kharband) and secured her son’s position as Akhandanand Tripathi’s (Pankaj Tripathi) successor after a pact with Guddu and Golu. Meanwhile an injured Akhandanand has found shelter from one of his enemies’ son Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma).
Whole season two was taken over by the women of ‘Mirzapur’ whether it was Golu Gupta, Beena Tripathi, Dimpy or Madhuri Yadav. It will be interesting to see how these women take forward the future of Mirzapur in season three and what role will the shrewd men of ‘Mirzapur’ play.
‘Mirzapur’ is created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna and stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Anjum Sharma in prominent roles. The Prime Video India original web series is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. While season two came in 2020, two years after the first season, ‘Mirzapur’ season three is expected to be out in late 2022 or early 2023.
