M. Night Shyamalan has made a huge comeback with his latest movie ‘Trap’ and it has already blown away the minds of audiences. If you missed watching the movie in theaters, no problem because it will soon be available to rent. You will be able to watch ‘Trap’ on rent on Amazon Prime Video or BMS Stream from the 13th of September.
Audience members have been reacting to the movie on social media and almost all the posts are positive. ‘Trap’ tells the story of a serial killer who takes his daughter to a pop concert and realizes that it is actually a trap by the FBI to catch a serial killer, which is himself. Some fans are regarding this movie as one of the most personal works of the director, dealing with ‘the trials of fatherhood in extremis’.
The movie is said by audiences to be a perfect blend of humour and tension. A concert thriller like this has not been seen in Hollywood before and Shyamalan manages to appeal to both gen-z and older audiences in the same movie. The movie stars Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Alison Pill and the performances are convincing. The credits for the beautiful visuals go to the master of the craft Sayombhu Mukdeeprom. And the music is given by Herdís Stefánsdóttir.
