Siddharth Anand is one of the most important names in Bollywood these days. We can’t say that he is one of the best filmmakers currently active in the industry but the influence he holds particularly due to the ultra-high-grossing movies is really appreciable.
So he has a production company called Marflix. Even Fighter was a product of that company. It has shown no delay in entering OTT and they already have their next project announced.
It is called “Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins”. Yes, there is a classic Devanand film by a similar name but it has got a little to do with that.
Jewel Thief stars Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nikita Dutta in the lead roles. The movie is about a theft of a piece of Jewellery that costs more than 500 crores.
This leads to a sort of partnership between the two leads and the movie follows the rest. Given the teaser, it looks pretty much ready but the platform has not announced any specific release date as such.
