The trailer for much awaited film ‘Yudhra’ Is here and it’s one gruesome action packed drama. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar, ‘Yudhra’ will release in cinemas on 20th September, 2024.
‘Yudhra’ trailer begins with gore visuals where the eponymous hero (played by Siddhant Chaturvedi) is a new inmate in a prison and in the very first day his deadly and ruthless action moves terrify others. His anger issue is to such an extent that even the love of his life cannot help him manage it.
Yudhra is an ex army officer and just like his father Girish, who also was an officer of the government and is now dead, loved to locked horns. He is somehow recruited for a mission to catch Firoz, one of the biggest smugglers of drugs and then begins his action packed journey where he doesn’t think twice before killing someone.
While the whole trailer is pretty gripping with all its high octane action, drama, thriller and mystery, the whole dialogue delivery part looks like a Hindi dubbed version of a Hollywood action film. And that is a major turn off of what could be an intense action drama. Also, Siddhant Chaturvedi’s screen presence is good and he is carrying the character well, while Raghav Jugal and Malvika Mohanan alongside other actors get minimal screen time in the trailer.
Touted to be a gripping story of embarking in a journey of self discovery and inner strength, ‘Yudhra’ explores themes of courage and determination. The film is directed by ‘Mom’ filmmaker Ravi Udyawar who is also set to direct upcoming films Ramayana and untitled Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur starrer film.
‘Yudhra’ stars a talented a ensemble cast that includes Siddhant Chaturvedi (‘Gully Boy’, ‘Bunty Aut Babli 2’, ‘Phone Bhoot’, ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, ‘Gehraiyaan’), Malvika Mohanan (‘Master’, ‘Thangalaan’), Raghav Juyal (‘Kill’, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’), Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun, and Shilpa Shukla among others.
