Takkar, the highly anticipated Indian Tamil-language romantic action film, has found its release date on OTT. Directed by Karthik G. The film follows the journey of Guns (Siddharth), a carefree young man with dreams of becoming a millionaire. He meets Lucky, a wealthy girl who believes money is the root cause of distress. As they embark on a road trip, their lives take an unexpected turn when they become entangled in a web of human trafficking and face unforeseen twists.
Takkar offers a not so interesting blend of action, romance, and suspense. While the actors do a decent job, the plot is just too poor to hold the audience.
Though the film has garnered mixed reviews from both audiences and critics, it holds promise with its engaging storyline and an impactful social message about human trafficking. Takkar aims to entertain while shedding light on an important issue.
