Silo Season 2 Gets Rave Reviews, Praise Ferguson’s Commanding Performance

Episode 1 of Silo Season 2, titled “The Engineer,” is now available on the Apple TV+ streaming platform. As a result, the first reactions to the second season are also out. The majority of these initial reactions to the newest Rebecca Ferguson starrer are highly positive, which is a promising sign for the series’ future.

Silo takes place in a dystopian future where a community resides inside a large-scale silo that stretches hundreds of stories underground. Over 10,000 people live in this silo, all part of a society governed by norms and regulations designed to protect them. Mission: Impossible star Rebecca Ferguson plays the protagonist, Juliette Nichols, one of the engineers who works on the silo’s generators.

Alongside Ferguson, the series stars Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, Harriet Walter, Tim Robbins, Avi Nash, Rick Gomez, and others.

Silo Season 2 currently holds a “fresh” rating of 90% based on 20 certified ratings. While this rating could change as more reviews come in, it indicates a strong start for the second season.

Season 2 has been praised for its acting performances (particularly Ferguson’s), storyline, character depth, and plot twists. The first reviews on Rotten Tomatoes share a similar sentiment.

IGN has also praised the second season and declared it as the head of the Apple TV+ originals pack.

Total Film is also singing praises about Ferguson’s “commanding” performance in its dazzling four-star review.

Collider has declared Silo Season 2 as one of the best Apple TV+ shows of all time.
