Kamal Haasan revealed a fresh poster today for Simbu’s upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘STR 48’ on X (formerly Twitter). This movie, directed by Desingh Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner Raaj Kamal Films International, promises to be a captivating action drama.
In ‘STR 48,’ Silambarasan will be portraying dual roles as identical brothers, and to spice things up, these two characters will clash in opposing roles in this film. The film’s first-look poster, which was unveiled today by Kamal, promises a good treat: against the backdrop of raging flames are Simbu’s dual avatars facing each other, getting ready for a battle.
The poster hints at a period-fantasy setting, portraying Simbu as a valiant knight (or knights, haha!). The official caption set for the film is ‘Blood and Battle.’ While the release date is yet to be announced, reports suggest that Keerthy Suresh might be the female lead for ‘STR48’.
Silambarasan was lastly seen in a Tamil film ‘Pathu Thala,’ directed by Obeli N. Krishna, and the movie turned out to be a commercial success. With big shots involved in the upcoming project, STR48 is poised to deliver a unique viewing experience for audiences when it eventually hits theaters.
