Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan will be releasing his upcoming movie on the eve of Diwali. His war drama ‘Amaran’ will release on the 31st of October this year. ‘Amaran’ is written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and is based on ‘India’s Most Fearless’ by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
When a movie gets Kamal Hassan’s backing, the expectations of the audience are increased automatically. Kamal Hassan is producing the movie along with R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani, under the banner of Raj Kamal Films and Sony Pictures India. Amaran will be telling the real life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan who was a member of the battalion 44 Rashtriya Rifles and gave his life while fighting terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir. Major Mukund Varadarajan was awarded the prestigious Ashok Chakra for his contributions to the safety of the country. This indeed is a passion project for Sivakarthikeyan who has reportedly worked pretty hard for the role and trained excessively.
The first poster that has been released features Sivakarthikeyan, whose body is sprinkled with blood and who looks quite angry in a bearded look. There is a tricolor in the background.
The cinematography of the movie is handled by CH Sai and the music is given by popular composer G. V. Prakash Kumar. ‘Amaran’ is Sivakarthikeyan’s 21st movie as a lead actor. He will be joined by Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora and Rahul Bose in the movie.
‘Amaran’ will be releasing on the 31st of October this year.
