Johnny English:

As a tribute to spy movies everywhere, Johnny English was a well made funny spoof of a rather unintelligent spy. By showing us a clumsy spy, which is far removed from the bad-ass/ debonair spies we have seen, this movie brings a whole new element to a spoof spy comedy.

Synopsis: After all of the country’s top agents are killed, the United Kingdom is forced to depend on Johnny English, an idiot-spy, as a wicked smuggler plans to steal the Crown Jewels. This movie is running on Amazon Prime Video.

Extra: Tropic Thunder:

This movie is not a spoof per-say, but it still spoofs a lot of behind the film scenes from a lot of big-budget productions, with a heavy nod towards Apocalypse Now. This Ben Stiller-directed Sleeper hit film went on to earn two Golden Globe nominations and an Oscar nomination.

Synopsis: A film crew shooting a big-budget film is running behind schedule and the director has lost control of his actors. The director decides to strand the main five cast members in a jungle, so as to get better film shots and get his actors back in line. Everything goes side-ways, when the director makes a mistake and the lead actor gets kidnapped by a local poppy-growing drug dealer. Currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
