Sketch Comedy Classic “The Kids In The Hall” Trailer Dropped!

Canadian sketch comedy troupe “The kids in the hall” is back after almost 30 years. Slated to release on Amazon Prime on May 13, this streaming series will revive the classic show, bringing back some of the characters and the and sally, featuring all five original members.

The trailer started with the members Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson waking up in a grave marked as “The Kids In The Hall TV Show” along with 1989 to 1995, the dates the original series aired on CBS, HBO, and Comedy Central on US and CBC in Canada.

”Who’s financing this time, the devil again?”, McCulloch asks in the trailer, to which Foley replies ”Well, sort of, Amazon”.
Thereafter we see McCulloch asking further to Foley, ”Do you know what Amazon wants from : ‘Kids in the Hall?”’.
”Yes Don, a funny show but one that is free from targets, topical topics, alarming edginess or unsettling settings,” Foley replies.

The new show will add some new offbeat characters as well, bringing some more fun, laced with satire and edgy comedy. The revival of this cult classic will be executive produced by Lorne Michaels, the man who first produced the original series.

Two trailers have been released by Prime Video today: A green band and red band version of the trailer, both showcasing a glimpse of certain characters and scenes.
