Apple TV+ has dropped the official trailer for Slow Horses Season 4, featuring Gary Oldman’s return as Jackson Lamb, the devious, rude, and witty head of the Slough House, an administrative purgatory for MI5 service rejects who literally ‘f–ked up’ their jobs but were not sacked by the British intelligence and security agency. Agents at the Slough House, also known as “Slow Horses”, mostly deal with mundane paper-pushing tasks and immeasurable mental abuse from their boss, Jackson Lamb.
The season 4 trailer puts Oldman’s Jackson Lamb against Hugo Weaving’s mysterious antagonistic character. Weaving joined the show in 2023. Based on his appearance, it seems like Weaving plays a pretty ruthless character in the upcoming season.
The latest trailer also adds a new member to the team of MI5 misfits – Emma Flyte (played by Ruth Bradley). Either she pisses someone off or is just another loser like the rest of the people at the Slough House, she finds herself working behind a dull desk job in the new clip. Moreover, we will see Jack Lowden’s River Cartwright worrying a bit too much about his grandfather (Jonathan Pryce) as the skilled and seasoned agent starts believing that he’s being watched.
The rest of Slow Horses’ cast for Season 4 includes talents like Kristin Scott Thomas, Rosalind Eleazar, Saskia Reeves, Kadiff Kirwan, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Tom Brooke, Joanna Scanlan, James Callis, and more. Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on the Apple TV+ streaming platform on September 4. Stay tuned for more updates. Enjoy the trailer below!
