The official teaser of ‘Slumberland‘ has been released now. Jason Momoa will take the viewers into the world of dreams through this new Netflix special. ‘Slumberland’ will tell the story of a little girl named Nema who has to finally go to high school after living with his father in a lighthouse for a long time. Her father’s death disturbs her and she wants to meet him again. School feels like prison to her. She can escape everything one day when suddenly she dreams of a strange and weird man ‘Flip’, played by Momoa, and he takes her to Slumberland.
The visuals of the film are awesome and dreamy in the truest sense, the actors look promising in their roles. The live-action fantasy surely will be one of the first choices to watch with one’s family. The project is helmed by Francis Lawrence. The Austrian filmmaker is well known for directing ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ previously and over sixty music videos. Pinar Toprak and James Newton Howard have composed the music for the movie. Marlow Barkley plays the role of the little girl Nema and there is an additional cast of Chris O’Dowd, Kyle Chandler, Weruche Opia in important roles.
The fantasy adventure film is based on a comic strip ‘ Little Nemo In Slumberland’ by Winsor Mckay. There has been a gender swap from the original 1920 comic strip and the protagonist has been changed to a girl.
