Netflix has dropped the trailer for its upcoming reality show ‘Social Currency’ where a group of Indian influencers have a face off. Created by Fazila Allana, Kamna Menezes and Sanvari Alagh Nair, ‘Social Currency’ will premiere only on Netflix on 22nd June, 2023.
‘Social Currency’ trailer shows that in this reality show eight social media influencers are brought together in a villa for 21 days but are made to ditch their phones, the source of all their fame, and now need to start from scratch to survive in the show.
They can influence online, offline and interpersonally to sell things and make money so that they can buy things in the villa. Through these 21 days these popular influencers go through multiple ups and downs even recalling their worst times.
The eight social media stars featuring in ‘Socail Currency’ are Mridul Madhok, Sakshi Chopra, Ruhi Singh, Bhavin Bhanushali, Parth Samthaan, Rowhi Rai, Vagmita and Aakash Mehta. ‘Social Currency’ is set to launch only on Netflix on 22nd June, 2023.
