Something Which Prime Video Should Have Learned From Voot…

Voot Select is not among the competition of top OTT platforms. But soon it will experience an enormous jump in the number of subscribers as it is playing aggressively.

It has grabbed the streaming rights of IPL, there are reports of big films in direct to OTT release and also, and it is snatching the streaming rights of some big films.

Recently, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, 777 Charlie was grabbed by the platform which is buzzy in itself.

Regardless, why we are comparing Voot Select with Prime Video is simple. Both platforms have the streaming rights to Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, however, they are of different languages.

Also, the R. Madhavan’s latest is not an ordinary film. Although it could not do wonders at the box office, it had the potential to woo audiences on OTT just like Anek and many more.

Voot Select is leaving no stone unturned for promoting the film through their social media handle. They have a really small subscriber base as of now, so naturally, the engagement and immediate results would be negligible.

But they are making good progress and trying to their fullest.

Talking about Prime Video, the same can’t be said. They didn’t promote even half of what Voot Select did, even when they had 4 languages at hand.

This is a clear-cut loss of a great opportunity which is insane to miss. There has hardly been any social media post about it let alone using the actor himself in promos.

We wish Prime Video had learned this simple thing from Voot Select, it. would help a film as brilliant as Rocketry: The Nambi Effect gain reaches amongst the masses.
