Netflix has unveiled the date and calendar of this year’s TUDUM festival. The event is always a big one and celebrities endorse it with all their might.
Last year, there were big announcements like The Fame Game, Dhamaka, and more. They even came out to be exceptionally successful and overall, it was a good event nonetheless.
Talking about last year then Khufiya, Plan A Plan B, and more are still on the cards of this year’s schedule. The movies were at a very primitive stage and we are yet to see them.
But the star of last year’s show was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The ace director is undoubtedly one of the most popular and greatest filmmakers in the country and the news of him making a series was nothing less than a blessing for his fans.
We realize that Bhansali projects take time and he was very busy with Gangubai Kathiawadi last year. Also, it might prove to be a game changer for Netflix.
People would love to see a grandeur on their screens and Bhansali magic is almost certain to work.
Unfortunately, there won’t be any update on the series this edition. A lot of news about the cast keeps popping up on the web. Some claims say that Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chaddha, and Manisha Koirala will essay lead roles in the costume drama but they are not official.
Any update to keep the audience hooked would be great. It has been a year of announcements and fans are still waiting for any updates which might follow.
But it is what it is and perhaps something great is making us wait.
