Sony Delays Two Big Projects, One Form Spiderman Universe

It isn’t just Disney who has made headlines for delaying projects; Sony has also joined the party, and this time, it’s affecting some of their big projects. While a minor change to the calendar might not affect the makers massively, it does disrupt the timeline for the fans.

This time, “Kraven the Hunter” and “The Karate Kid” are on the chopping board from Sony.

Sony has shifted the release date of “Kraven the Hunter,” starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, from August 30, 2024, to December 13, 2024.

This move allows “Kraven” to claim a prime winter spot previously held by “The Karate Kid,” which has now been rescheduled to May 30, 2025. The adjustment accommodates both films within Sony’s upcoming release schedule.

For the fans, this looks like a very frustrating step, as “Kraven” has been at the receiving end of multiple delays. Additionally, the new December 13th release date will clash with the big film from Warner Bros., “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.”

Regarding how fans are reacting, they are losing hope in Sony’s capability to produce a good film from the Spider-Man Universe, and this sentiment is prominent in the reactions of the fans.
