Sony LIV has just revealed the first teaser for the new season of its popular political drama, ‘Maharani’. The new season of Maharani will see Huma Qureshi return as Rani Bharti, in a more badass avatar than ever. Sony LIV has not revealed any release date of Maharani Season 3 yet, except for a cryptic “coming soon” tag to go with the teaser.
As per the short 1-minute teaser revealed by Sony LIV, Maharani Season 3 will see Rani Bharti in jail, down but not out. What’s more, she will clear her intermediate exams in one of the most significant milestones of her life. The teaser has Rani Bharti warning her adversaries and rivals — husband Bheema Bharti and current CM Navin Kumar — to watch out for fireworks from her once she’s a full-fledged graduate.
Maharani Season 3 definitely promises fireworks in its third outing, not to mention, interesting twists and turns. Besides Huma Qureshi, Maharani stars Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles.
The series, in its third season, is produced by Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda, created by Subhash Kapoor, and directed by Saurabh Bhave. Subhash Kapoor and Nandan Singh are writers of Maharani Season 3.
