The group states of the 2021/22 edition of Champions League got completed a while back, and now the round of 16 has been announced by its organising body, the UEFA AKA Union of European Football Association. The fight for the most prestigious trophy is much tighter than last year and the current champions, Chelsea, are definitely in for a fight. This entire footballing event will be available for streaming on SonyLIV in India.
As the name suggests, 16 teams qualified from the group stages to the round of 16. These include RB Salzburg, last year’s Champion’s League finalist Manchester City, former champions Bayern Munich, Sporting CP, Manchester United, Benfica, current champions Chelsea, Ajax, the French league champions LOSC Lille, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Liverpool and PSG.
