“A Family That Eats Together Stays Together” is the adage that inspires SonyLIV’s light-hearted drama series ‘Potluck‘. Potluck is a story soaked in emotions, seasoned with a spoonful of madness, dollops of love, and garnished with a sprinkling of drama. Fun and togetherness spill over when the Shastri family organizes potlucks and gathers for a perfect brew of bonding and togetherness.
Potluck is the story of an ageing set of parents and their three grown up children, who don’t see eye to eye with the parents due to generational differences. Yet, despite everything, what shines through is their underlying interpersonal relationships and the power of understanding each other, especially in times of a crisis. Following the dynamics of a modern Indian family, the show combines the expectations of the older generation and the freedom of expression of the young ones.
Potluck is directed by Rajshree Ojha, who had earlier directed Aisha. It is presented by Triplecom Media, Loose Cannons Content Studio & Vial Content, and produced by Kunal Das Gupta, Pavneet Gakhal, Gaurav Lulla, Vivek Gupta. It is written by Ashwin Lakshmi Narayan, Bharat Misra, Gaurav Lulla. The show features an impressive set of actors including Cyrus Sahukar, Harman Singha, Ira Dubey Jatin Sial, Kitu Gidwani, Shikha Talsania, Salonie Patel, and Siddhant Karnick.
Potluck will premiere on SonyLIV on 10th September, in Hindi, and dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam and Kannada.
