Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ is all set to hit theatres on the occasion of Diwali. The film already has an edge over other Bollywood releases this year, considering it has a two week solo run at the box office, since there are no films releasing between the 5th and 19th November. Post a slight backlash from netizens regarding the late start at promotions, the makers are here with a bang! The first single released today, ‘Aila Re Aillaa’ was totally worth the wait and is just what we need right now!
‘Aila Re Aillaa‘ is a revived version of the earlier hit track from another Akshay Kumar blockbuster, ‘Khatta Meetha’. The track has been sung by veteran artist Daler Mehndi with the music recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The original song was composed by Pritam and let’s just say the makers have done the song full justice. Amidst scenes of flying cars and people, the celebratory song sees Akshay Kumar alongwith Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh dance like there’s no tomorrow!
The hype for ‘Sooryavanshi‘ is only growing by the day with the additional tadka of the ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’ stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, apart from the lead hit pair of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif after more than a decade. The Rohit Shetty directorial is expected to break records and pull viewers back to the theatres for good. Interestingly, the angle surrounding the promotions is killing two birds with one stone. Along with creating buzz about the film that’s the fourth in the cop universe, the makers have taken it upon themselves to be the theatre revivers, with the task on in full swing.
