A new teaser of the Malayalam upcoming movie ‘Djinn’ which features Soubin Shahir in the lead role has been released. The movie is directed by Sidharth Bharathan. The cast of the movie includes Sharafudheen, KPAC Lalitha,Shine Tom Chacko and Leona alongside Soubin.
The movie’s production started in 2020 and it was delayed due to many reasons. Ever since the first poster release, the movie had attracted fans’ attention because of the title and the subject. This is the first ‘Djinn’ which is an Arabic mythical figure, is a part of a Malayalam movie and the teaser also hints a presence of a supernatural element. The movie is expected to hit theatres soon.
Soubin Shahir as an actor couldn’t make a promising breakthrough in his performance after ‘Ambili’. But then after the release of Anwar Rasheed’s ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ the actor has received lots of praise from the audience and critics where he delivered an amazing performance in the movie alongside Mammootty. Djinn is the major project for him after ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ and the fans are expecting another stellar performance from him.
‘Kallan D’souza’ and ‘Meow’ were the other releases of Soubin Shahir in 2022, but both movies couldn’t create the expected buzz among the audience and in box office whereas ‘Djinn’ became the most anticipated movie of Soubin this year.
