‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Achieves This Incredible Feat on IMDb

Tom Holland’s latest superhero outing ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ witnessed a rousing response and a phenomenal theatrical release on 17th December in the US and on 16th December in Indian cinemas. The film has set the global box office on fire and has already grossed over $638 million worldwide.

Considering the widely admired film’s massive following, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has now achieved the feat of making its way to the coveted IMDb top 250 list and that too within merely a week of its theatrical release. Not just that, Jon Watts’ directorial currently stands on the ninth rank on the IMDb top 250 international films list.

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is a direct sequel to Tom Holland’s solo Spider-Man movies namely ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’. The film revolves around the complex concept of multi-verse. Its underlying plot follows a botched-up magical spell by Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) while attempting to conceal Peter Parker’s secret identity as Spider-Man from the public. But it eventually results in various supervillains (Electro, Green Goblin, Sandman, The Lizard, and Doc Ock) from alternate realities somehow entering Peter Parker’s universe.
