Spiderverse Delay Rumors Debunked

The Internet can be many things, but the one thing it can never be is 100% reliable. It is quite easy to spread a rumor online, and the bigger the rumor, the better its spread. Yesterday, news surfaced that the much-awaited “Spiderman: Beyond the Spiderverse” would get delayed as most of the work had to be scrapped. Today, composer Daniel Pemberton cleared the rumor, and the fans rejoiced.

Understandably, the delay news had made a lot of people very sad, as it would have meant that there would be no chance of BTSV hitting the theaters before 2027. The last movie in the trilogy will see the culmination of Miles Morales’ story arc. Pemberton, in a tweet, said, “Would you ever believe there could sometimes be stuff on the internet that might not always be particularly accurate?”

The second movie alone took around 5 years to make, after the release of the first Spider-verse movie. Now the third movie has been in production for quite some time, with Karan Soi even stating that the movie’s voice recordings might just begin sooner than expected. Now the fans take a breath of relief as the movie won’t be swinging above the pits of developmental hell.
