Spine-Chilling Survival Thriller ‘Fall’ Sequel Is In The Works

The spine-chilling survival adventure thriller movie Fall is the kind of film you can’t afford to miss. The movie was released in theatres last year and is currently streaming in India on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. And in a fantastic piece of update for fans of the film, the makers are now planning a sequel to the movie. Yes, you read that right: ‘Fall 2’ is indeed happening!

Discussions about the ideas for ‘Fall 2’ are already underway between the first film’s director Scott Mann and the producer. Since the sequel is currently under the conception stage, its precise plot details are not known. But as the title suggests, the story will be in line with the first film’s underlying theme: heights. Grace Caroline Currey might reprise her role from the first ‘Fall’ film, but nothing is confirmed yet.

And for those of you who may be thinking that the ‘Fall’ sequel might be repetitive or will be inferior to the first film, the makers have assured that they don’t want to make something that feels like a copycat or less than the first one.

The parent film ‘Fall’ follows two best friends and experienced female rock climbers, who are still dealing with a recent death of a common friend. Around a year later, the duo decides to undertake a daredevil climbing adventure to the top of an abandoned and desolate 2000-feet radio tower to overcome their fears. But soon, they find themselves stranded on the top of the tower with no way to get back to the ground.

‘Fall’ is a beautifully shot, well-acted, and crisply directed movie. You’ll feel as if you are climbing with the two lead characters and are stuck along with them. On the reviews front, ‘Fall’ has secured a critics score of 79% and is ‘Certified Fresh’ on reviews aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
