Netflix has released the first look for ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor‘ and it is bound to give you an eerie feel. This latest Netflix series comes from the makers of ‘The Haunting Of Hill House’ and will premiere in the Fall of 2020.
With a mysterious girl standing in the middle of a pool of water and the backdrop of a rugged structure, the poster for Netflix’s ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor’ has a dusty brown look and feel. It perfectly sets the tone for this upcoming supernatural horror drama inspired from the 1898 novella ‘The Turn of the Screw’ by Henry James.
Created by Mike Flanagan along with his production partner Trevor Macy, ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor’ is next in the series of ‘The Haunting’ anthology and has no connections in terms of storyline to ‘Hill House’.
Its a gothic romantic ghost story and follows a ‘young governess (Victoria Pedretti) hired by a man to look after his niece and nephew at the family country house after they fall into his care. Arriving at the Bly estate, she begins to see apparitions that proceed to haunt the premises’.
‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor’ brings back some of the actors from the first part including Henry Thomas, Victoria Pedretti, Catherine Parker, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Kate Siegel. While those newly added include Rahul Kohli, T’Nia Miller, Amelia Eve, Benjamin Ainsworth and Amelie Smith.
Exact release dates of Netflix’s ‘The Haunting Of Bly Manor’ are still awaited, till then keep looking at this space for further details.
