Netflix has dropped the trailer for ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’, its much awaited reality competition show that is based on the popular South Korean series. ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ will land on Netflix on 22nd November, 2022.
‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ trailer shows a diverse group of 456 individuals (just like the original show) coming together for the big cash prize ($56 million dollars). The video gives the glimpse of legendary animatronic doll, Young-hee, as it conducts a new round of Red Light, Green Light.
The players are then seen inside the game hall where they can be seen making friends, enemies, and much more. There are games both new and familiar, and the contestants go through multiple hurdles and eliminations. While there’s no life and death situation in ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’, a glistening, cash-filled piggy bank hanging over the dormitory certainly turns up the intensity.
A ten part series filmed in the United Kingdom, ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ through a series of games, each player will be pushed to their limits and forced to ask themselves just how far they’ll go to win, with opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies and timely betrayals to follow.
‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ will premiere on Netflix on 22nd November, 2023.
