Squid Games Season 2 Now Has A Release Window

Talking about the Asian wing of Netflix, there are a few shows that have achieved global appreciation, with very few reaching the levels of “Squid Game.” Despite starting with some controversies, the first season ended in a way that didn’t necessarily demand a second season.

However, Season 2 has officially been greenlit, though there haven’t been many updates. It was confirmed that the show will see some familiar faces, but Netflix has done a good job maintaining secrecy. As Hwang Dong-hyuk’s thriller has more story to tell, the creators are now slowly disclosing more details.

During an interview, Lee Jung-jae gave fans an idea about the show’s release window. As he is also a part of the Star Wars show “The Acolyte,” he mentioned that the popular Korean show will make a comeback in December 2024.

Previously, it was reported by the CEO of Netflix that they were targeting a late 2024 release, but now that we have a date, fans can expect that the show is entering the post-production phase.

This show definitely has success written all over it, especially with such global hype and the various forms of advertisement that many social media personalities did. The show will definitely be a big hit. Even the reality show format is being loved by the fans. The countdown begins for Netflix’s Korean superhit series “Squid Game” Season 2.
