Stags: Bachelor Party Goes All Wrong In New Paramount+ Show!

Paramount+ has announced a new original titled ‘Stags’. The platform collaborates with ‘Sex Education’ producer Eleven for the project.

‘Stags’ is wonderful news for fans. There will be six episodes to the miniseries and from the plot it looks like a heavy survival thriller. The show has been described by the makers like this: Stu, played by Nico Mirallegro, is the groom accompanied by his friends to a bachelor party in South America. The party goes alright, but while returning, they are sent to a prison island instead of their home. The prison is run by two brothers who are at a ‘war’ and all the friends have to choose a side each. The friendships are put to a tough test and many faithful relations are broken, only to survive.

British filmmaker David Kerr is directing the show. He has previously directed films like ‘Johnny English Strike Again’, ‘Man vs Bee’ and many more. Daniel Cullen has created the show and is a co-executive producer.

The show will star actors like Nico Mirallegro who was seen in ‘Passenger’, ‘This Country’ fame Charlie Cooper and Asim Chaudhry of Indian origin, who starred in ‘People Just Do Nothing’. There are also other actors like Corin Silva, Sophie Lenglinger, Paul Forman, Jojo Macari, Cavan Clerkin, Paulina Galvez, and Oscar Foranda in important roles.

The release date and other details have not been revealed yet. As Paramount+ shows are available to watch on JioCinema in India, ‘Stag’ too will be streaming on JioCinema as per the multi-year deal of Viacom18 with Paramount.
