‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ First Look Images Out, Stars Jude Law

Jude Law is officially a part of the prominent intergalactic universe, thanks to the ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ Disney+ series. Special thanks to People Magazine for unveiling the show’s official first-look images, starring Law and the rest of the cast members.

As per the official synopsis, Skeleton Crew’s story will revolve around four kids and their journey to their home planet. However, everything turns upside down after they get lost in “a strange and dangerous galaxy”. They will try to find their way home, encounter some unlikely allies, and face some unexpected dangers on their journey.

Law stars as Jod Na Nawood, a force-user capable of using his charming persona and quick thinking to get out of problematic scenarios. Along with the English actor, we will see child actors Kyriana Kratter (KB), Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Wim), Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Fern), and Robert Timothy Smith (Neel). The rest of the show’s cast includes talents such as Jaleel White, Kerry Condon, Tunde Adebimpe, and Nick Frost as the voice of SM 33, a droid.

Speaking about SM 33, showrunner Jon Watts said the following in a recent interview with People Magazine.

“He’s like a rusty old, cranky droid that sort of reluctantly helps the kids along the way,” he says with a laugh, noting how “fun” and “absolutely perfect” Frost’s contributions are. He adds, “The other thing about him is that he’s the first mate of a mysterious ship.”

Apart from SM 33, Skeleton Crew will feature plenty of different droids, according to Watts. In addition, the showrunner has guaranteed that Star Wars fans will find plenty of easter eggs in the upcoming Disney+ series.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will premiere on Disney+ on December 3, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
