Steve Carrell’s Sitcom ‘The Office’ To Get Another Season?

‘The Office’ fans might want to dance with excitement as it is being reported by major Hollywood media houses that the show is going for a reboot.

‘The Office’ is an American sitcom that is shot in a documentary style and it captures the everyday proceedings of the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The branch has a difficult but innocent tryna-be-funny guy as a boss and his disturbed employers who struggle to put up with him.

Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, Raina Wilson play the lead roles and there are other important characters played by Jenna Fischer, B. J. Novak, Melora Hardin, David Denman, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Angela Kinsey, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Ed Helms and many others. There are multiple cameos as well. The show was developed by Greg Daniels and it premiered in 2005. The show went on to 2013 but stopped there, to fans’ disappointment.

‘The Office’ is the official American adaptation of the British show of the same name developed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.

Greg Daniels is said to be returning as the showrunner of the show. And work will resume soon after the Writers’ and Actors’ protest. Hopefully the actors will be returning to reprise their roles. The Office has worldwide fan following and the huge fan base is already excited with the news.
