Steven Yeun Becomes A Part Of Marvel’s Thunderbolts

The Oscar-nominated actor, Steven Yeun, is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Thunderbolts. He will be sharing the screen with a star-studded cast, consisting of talents like Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour, and many more.

Yeun rose to global prominence for his role as Glenn Rhee in the popular post-apocalyptic horror series, The Walking Dead. He gave a critically acclaimed performance in Minari and stole the show from Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer in Jordan Peele’s Nope. Apart from these films, the actor has also appeared in Okja, Sorry To Bother You, The Humans, and other features.

Although, Marvel Studios is yet to reveal Yeun’s role in Thunderbolts. According to Deadline, he will play a character that will be significant to the upcoming project and his role may shape the future films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Studio has roped in Jake Schreier to helm the forthcoming Marvel tentpole, with Black Widow writer Eric Pearson handling the film’s script. And Kevin Feige will produce the project.

Not many details about Thunderbolts’ plot have been revealed by Marvel Studios. But it will revolve around the group of superhero oddbots who are sent on dangerous missions commissioned by the US government. It will be interesting to see what kind of role Steven Yeun will play in the forthcoming MCU entry. Stay tuned for more updates.
