Streaming giant Netflix has some of the best Korean dramas on offer in the streaming space. The streamer has attracted scores of new viewers to its platform on the back of its popular Korean slate. Now, Netflix is all geared up to release yet another heartwarming new Korean drama on its platform. Titled ‘Daily Dose Of Sunshine’, Netflix’s new Korean drama premieres on the platform worldwide on 3rd November, 2023.
‘Daily Dose Of Sunshine’ promises to be a feel-good show, centered on a nurse who works in the psychiatry ward of her hospital. Jung Da-Eun (Park Bo-young) is a third-year nurse, who gets transferred from internal medicine to the psychiatry ward in hospital. The series recounts her interactions with her patients, and how her kindheartedness helps them to feel and heal better.
The series is adapted from the Kakao webtoon of the same name. It is created by Lee Ra-ha, a former nurse, who has written it based on her own real-life experiences in hospital. ‘Daily Dose Of Sunshine’ is directed by Lee Jae-gyu, and stars Park Bo-young, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Dong-yoon and Lee Jung-eun, among others.
The official synopsis of ‘Daily Dose Of Sunshine’ reads – “A kind-hearted nurse working in psychiatry goes above and beyond to be a daily dose of sunshine for those under her care despite the challenges coming her way.”
