The story of one of India’s biggest business families is all set to be shared with the world. We’re talking about the Tatas!
A book on the life of Tatas spanning 200 years was released in 2019, titled ‘The Tatas: How a Family Built a Business and a Nation’ by author Girish Kuber. The book received positive responses and was termed as well written, remarkable, and a must read. Readers also said that reading Girish’s writing felt like watching a documentary. Well, T-Series probably heard this! As per a recent news, Bhushan Kumar and Almighty Motion Pictures have acquired the AV rights of this story.
Based on the book, this upcoming movie will take you through the inspiring journey of three generations of Tata over 200 years. During pre-independence days in the 1800s, Nusserwanji Tata started a cotton trading business. This was further expanded with the help of his son Jamsetji, who entered multiple fields and strengthened Tatas’ standing in the business world. And finally, JRD Tata and Ratan Tata took over to reach immeasurable heights. The journey from regional to international, with setbacks and learnings, the story of Tatas is nothing but impeccable!
The cast and release date has not been disclosed yet. OTT release or theatrical release is yet to be declared too. The book was a great success and we’re sure this upcoming documentary will be no less. Stay tuned for further updates!
