Movie guide Letterboxd has announced the top 25 highest-rated films from the first half of 2022. We all know that users of Letterboxd are the assembly of great cinephiles and the ratings are significantly more reliable than IMDb.
But whatever the case may be, four Indian films found a way into the top 25 highest-rated films. If you are wondering which ones they are then you might be a little surprised.
One among them is rated number 2 and a majority of Indians didn’t appreciate it enough.

Kadaisi Vivasayi (Number 2)
Rated 4.3 out of 5, Kadaisi Vivasayi is the second highest rated film on the list. This Malayalam movie is streaming on SonyLIV and is indeed worth a watch.
Based on farmers, the film stars Nallandi in the titular role.
RRR (Number 6)
The mega blockbuster RRR is rated 4.1 and thrones the sixth position in the list. The SS Rajamouli magnum opus stars Jr NTR, Ramcharan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
It is streaming on Netflix in Hindi audio. Rest audio which includes Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam is streaming on Zee5.
Vikram (Number 11)
The Lokesh Kanagrajan blockbuster is soon coming to Disney+Hotstar after a glorious theatrical run of over 5 weeks.
It is rated 4 and has an assembly of talented actors like Kamal Hassan, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi and even Suriya.
After gaining an immensely hot response from the audience and critics you may stream it on Disney+Hotstar from July 8th onwards.
Pada (Number 21)
Having a rating of 3.8, this Malayalam thriller is streaming on Prime Video. It stars Arjun Radhakrishnan, Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan and Kani Kusruti in the lead role.
It is based on a 1996 incident, where tribals barge into the collector’s office for their rights.
Thus they are the ones on Letterboxd which got ranked in the top 25. It is surprising to not find KGF Chapter 2 or Gangubai Kathiawadi but you may enjoy binging these four titles on four different platforms.
