Stream Or Skip: Resident Alien: Season 3 Streaming On JioCinema

Don’t sigh and think of it as just another alien series; “Resident Alien” is anything but “another series”. The series is silly, serious, and everything you need for a good time. Created by Syfy and Peacock, it’s indeed a buzzy one. If you’ve had a tiresome day and want to watch something silly, here’s your recommendation. And if you were planning to watch it anyway, we can answer the question: should you invest that much time?

Plot-
Harry, the stranded alien disguised as a small-town doctor, faces an existential crisis in Season 3: side with Earth he’s grown to care for or fulfill his mission of annihilation? The Greys, a ruthless alien armada, complicate his choice, forcing him into a shaky alliance with the stern General McCallister.

Back in Patience, Asta and D’arcy, now aware of Harry’s true nature, become his unlikely parental figures, juggling personal dramas with the town’s escalating mistrust.

As Harry navigates loyalty and betrayal, shocking truths emerge. The Greys’ invasion stems from a long-forgotten galactic feud, and another “Harry” lurks on Earth, blurring the lines of identity. Asta discovers her own alien heritage, adding another layer to the complex web.

The season crescendos in a heart-pounding battle for Earth’s survival. Sacrifices are made, alliances bend and break, and Harry grapples with his deepest desires. The Greys are defeated, but victory comes at a cost.

Now, these are the tale of the previous seasons, if you haven’t checked them out, it’s about time and if you did, then, why are you waiting?

Opinion-
Now, the series is definitely a slow watch; you do need to watch the previous two seasons. It started as solving a small-town mystery, but the stakes are getting higher and higher. Now, it’s about the survival of the entire human species; that’s how you build up the threat.

Don’t expect some series about Alien invasion; this is not the series for you. Even the CGI and animation aren’t up to the mark and are borderline silly, and that’s what makes the series so good. Even the Greys, they look silly. The show doesn’t make an attempt to look serious or cool.

The dialogues are purely iconic and silly, and the camera work is intentionally childish, making the show an overall gem.
