Stream Or Skip: Spaceman Streaming On Netflix

Space, sadness, solitude—three themes that interest film fans—are present throughout the film as “Spaceman” is currently streaming on Netflix. The topic of the film isn’t that innovative; “Interstellar” has already excelled when it comes to these themes, and “Spaceman” doesn’t really come close to that. But is Adam Sandler and the giant space spider enough to make you watch the film?

Opinion-

Talking about the strengths and weaknesses of the show, Sandler delivers a really strong performance, which also brings a fresh breath of air different from his usual comic roles. But greatness isn’t just limited to the solo performance; the visuals are also over the top.

The visuals are spot on, as Netflix manages to pull off another wonder. Besides that, the storytelling has been on point, capturing emotions of solitude and loneliness.

However, the strength doesn’t overpower the weaknesses. The lack of originality is evident, as reflected in the reviews. Though Sandler delivers a stellar performance, there is a definite lack of character development. Even the predictability hurts the credibility of the film. But is it worth the watch?

Stream Or Skip-

We won’t give it a hard pass, but you can stream it. The execution of the film is really good and it comes out as a good watch. The film could have been a lot better, but as it stands, it is at least watchable.
