The teaser for ‘Stree 2’ was initially launched with ‘Munjya’ in theatres but it is finally out now for all. And while it only gives a glimpse of what is about to unfold in the film, ‘Stree 2’ teaser does raise excitement.
Helmed by Amar Kaushik, ‘Stree 2’ teaser begins with the legend coming back to the town and once again scaring the life out of everyone. People who erected a statue in her honour and asked her to protect them are now afraid as she has probably returned to take revenge. But has she really comeback or is it something else?
Shraddha’s character has also returned and once again Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) is following her crazily in love. The scene where Shraddha is swinging her hair tied in pleats does raise eyebrows though (iykyk).
The teaser gives glimpses of the lead stars Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee who are returning to reprise their roles. All in all the teaser does up the curiosity and excitement for ‘Stree 2’.
A sequel to the superhit 2018 film, ‘Stree 2’ is the fifth instalment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under their Maddock Film and Jio Studios banners, ‘Stree 2’ is set to release in cinemas on 15th August, 2024.
