The trailer for Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s ‘Sukhee’ is here and it’s one women centric family drama. Helmed by Sonal Joshi, ‘Sukhee’ is a set to release in theatres on 22nd September, 2023.
‘Sukhee’ trailer follows the life of Sukhee Kalra (Shilpa Shetty), a 38 year old Punjabi housewife who leads a hectic yet monotonous life immersed in daily chores and taking care of her family with no time for herself. When the opportunity arises to attend her school reunion in Delhi she goes against her husband’s wish to meet her friends.
Sukhee relives the 17-year-old version of herself whilst going through a plethora of experiences in a span of just seven days, coming out rekindled, reborn and making the most difficult transition in her life – from being a wife and a mother to being a woman again. Meanwhile her husband struggles to manage the house in her absence.
Directed by Sonal Joshi, ‘Sukhee’ stars Shilpa Shetty, Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral and Chaitanya Choudhary among others. The film is a joint production venture between T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment.
‘Sukhee’ will release in cinemas on 22nd September, 2023. Post theatrical digital rights for ‘Sukhee’ have been acquired by Netflix while the satellite rights for the same are with Sony Max.
