Sun Network Banks Big on Sun Nxt

Sun Network’s OTT platform Sun NXT is helping the brand earn good bucks at the market. The company, which has recently tied up with MX Player for content sharing, has reportedly made impressive profits on the digital front from October.

With over 11 million subscribers, Sun NXT is garnering the company a solid Rs 50 revenue. The OTT platform is expected to gain more subscribers by this December and even aims to reach the 20 million mark, provided its negotiations with Reliance Jio for a deal materializes.

As of now, Sun NXT has 50,000 hours of content across movies, originals, in four languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The brand is all set to spend over Rs 150 crore towards the OTT platform in the coming year and is aiming Rs 100 crore revenue in the next financial year.
