Disney Plus Hotstar’s sassy chat show ‘Koffee With Karan Season 8’ has pulled off one of the most Impossible tasks – it has managed to get on board Bollywood star Sunny Deol as guest on the show. Sunny Deol will grace the red hot couch of Karan Johar’s popular chat show in the second episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, which is this Thursday.
Sunny will be accompanied on Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 2 by younger brother Bobby Deol. The latter’s movie Animal is slated to hit theatres on 1st December, 2023. Bobby Deol is playing the primary antagonist in Animal. Sunny Deol doesn’t have any upcoming release in the coming months.
Sunny Deol is one Bollywood actor who is known to be fiercely private. He keeps to himself mostly, and doesn’t share updates or posts on social media, or attend filmy or social events, unlike his contempararies Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt. Karan Johar has certainly pulled off a coup by getting Sunny Deol on his couch, to answer questions that are arguably inconsequential in the larger scheme of things.
Sunny Deol had last appeared on Koffee With Karan in its inaugural season of Season 1. The chat show was hardly the controversy-attracting magnet then, as it is now. Thus, effectually, Sunny Deol will appear on Koffee With Karan after an astonishing 17 long years. Getting Sunny Deol to grace Koffee With Karan Season 8 is hence a big win for all concerned – Disney Plus Hotstar, Koffee With Karan and Karan Johar.
Fans are speculating that Sunny Deol’s return to cinema with Gadar 2 and its blockbuster success has spurred the actor to be more outgoing, and make an appearance on Koffee With Karan Season 8. The episode with Sunny and Bobby Deol will premiere on Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 2 this Thursday, 2nd November.
