The trailer for the highly awaited film Superboys of Malegaon is now out. The movie made by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films is something that we have been waiting for quite some time. It was announced last year and since then it has been the favourite of many film festivals. Originally scheduled for a theatrical release in January, the movie is finally coming to the big screens on the 28th of February.
Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. He along with his friends set on a journey to make films made in Malegaon for the people of Malegaon. So they made several films like Sholay and Superman that would be all about Malegaon.
The reason?
Quest for identity in a world that doesn’t last long. The boys intend to do something that would leave an identity for them.
Reema Kagti directed the film written by Varun Grover. It features Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan in lead roles.
The trailer is truly beautiful and to a great extent, it is “moving” as well. But let’s wait to see how the film actually comes out to be.
