Sushmita Sen to Make a Comeback to Showbiz in Show Called Aarya on Disney + Hotstar

Alluring beauty Sushmita Sen has been off our screens for many years now. Fans of the sultry actress have time and again implored her to give up her self-imposed hiatus and make a much-awaited comeback. Well, Madame Sen has finally decided to humour them and make a comeback of sorts, albeit in a digital show. The show is called Aarya, and it will reportedly stream on the to-be-newly-formed OTT platform called Disney + Hotstar.

As per reports in the media, Sushmita Sen has already started shooting for her comeback vehicle from December 2019. The series is set in the backdrop of Rajasthan and its royalty-imbued milieu. Sushmita plays the titular role in the series.

Not much else is known about the premise or the rest of the cast of Aarya, except for a very important bit of info – its premiere date. Apparently, the series will stream from 29th March 2020, the day on which Disney + will launch formally in India as a joint entity with Hotstar, called Disney + Hotstar.

Aarya will be one of the first offerings on the Indian arm of the streaming platform.
