Sydney Sweeney and Julianne Moore To Star In Apple’s Echo Valley

Euphoria fame Sydney Sweeney and Boogie Nights’ Julianne Moore are all set to team up for Apple’s new film, Echo Valley, written and produced by Brad Ingelsby, prominent for creating Mare of Easttown, starring Kate Winslet.

Echo Valley is a hard-hitting thriller drama, revolving around the mother-daughter duo of Kate and Claire Garrett. The former is shocked to her core after suffering a tragic personal loss and spends her remaining days at Echo Valley farm, where she trains horses. One late night, her headstrong daughter, Claire, arrives at her mother’s doorstep. Kate sees her covered in someone else’s blood, shivering and startled. The upcoming Apple feature will show the lengths to which a mother is ready to go to protect her daughter.

Michael Pearce will helm the project, with the trio of Ingelsby, Michael Pruss, and the legendary filmmaker, Ridley Scott, serving as the producers. Pearce is a BAFTA-winning helmer, best known for his directional duties in Rite (2010), Beast (2017), Encounter (2021), and many more. Additionally, Pruss aided Ingelsby in developing the script.

Ingelsby’s Mare of Easttown was a surprising hit in the pandemic era, bagging a total of 16 Emmy nominations. The American screenwriter and director has penned down the scripts of several well-known features, including Christian Bale’s Out of the Furnace (2013), Liam Neeson’s Run All Night (2015), Christina Hendricks’ American Woman (2018), and Ben Affleck’s The Way Back (2020).

Apart from Apple’s Echo Valley, Sydney Sweeney is also starring in Tony Tost’s Americana, Michael Mohan’s Immaculate, and Sony’s Madame Web. As for Julianne Moore, she is part of Todd Haynes’ upcoming directional, May December, opposite Natalie Portman. Stay tuned for more updates.
