The trailer for the ‘Synchronic’ movie was just released some time ago, and it is a fresh and riveting take on Sci-fi with time travel as its central theme. This is undoubtedly one that should appeal to all those ‘Dark’ fans who are reading this.
Jamie Dornan and Anthony Mackie play the overnight paramedics Dennis Dornan and Steve Denube accordingly who don’t live a really adventurous life, to say the least, but all of that is about to change as they try to figure out the mysteries surrounding themselves and this world and the intrigue factor kicks in from the beginning of the trailer itself in ‘Synchronic.’
Synchronic promises to be a mind-bending exploration into time with surprise twists and turns coming up regularly throughout it. Steve Denube, who is being played by Anthony Mackie, seems to be losing his grip on reality and wants to feel like he is making an impact with the things he is doing. These parts are further reinforced with the scenes where Anthony Mackie says, “Time is an illusion.”
Filmmakers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have built a sort of cult following at different fest, and ‘Synchronic’ is the brainchild of these aspirational filmmakers to hate to stick to any specific genre and like giving their audiences some enthralling storylines. This film seems to be their cautious foray into the commercial world of cinema.
Fans and cinephiles from across the world are excited not only because of the visionary filmmakers who are at the helm of this project but also because of the talented cast. Anthony Mackie became a household name because of his role in Captain America, but Synchronic should prove to bring the actors deeper acting talent and potential to the fore.
Filmmakers Justin and Aaron have also garnered a lot of critical acclaims for their previous project such as ‘The Endless Spring’ and ‘Resolution’ and everyone is super excited with this. ‘Synchronic’ is releasing in theatres on 23rd October, and it looks like the perfect treat for all sci-fi lovers out there.
